Sorry for the long period of no posts!

I have been pretty busy with school as well as organizing my fanfiction collections. Recently, I have read Heartlogos series of Asphodel on Archive of our own and it has been amazing! I noticed that there was no art, which is a tragedy! To rectify the situation I made a piece myself. Currently it is only the beginning stages, just graphite but I hope to have a colored print later.

A thought

When ashes fall to dust and clouds blot out the sun, trees will fall to the ground and the flowers will seek for what is not there. The sounds off all life dying will fill the air until we realize it is too late for recovery. Because of recent events..

I suffer from depression as do many other people. Sometimes it seems like there is no real cause for it or your reasons are stupid/ silly / ect.. but that is not true. Everyone deserves happiness and mental health problems are really serious. Here is a small happy quote for those who need a little boost in the day.

The Anti-Life Equation

I must admit..

I am many things. I can be the drama queen then at the flip of a switch go into the slightly smaller version of a panic attack while fangirling over Doctor Who, Sherlock, Supernatural, Merlin, Hunger Games, Batman, All of DC universe, All of Marvel Universe, Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter and all book series that I happen to obsess over. I can be the girl who sits in the middle of the chaos during school with a blank face and I can be invisible and on the fringes. I can also be the liar, the trickster, the villain, the hero, the victim, the sacrifice.

We all have the ability to be many different things. One thing that makes us unique is our ability to adapt again and again over short periods of time. We all have the right to make our own decisions and mistakes as well as learn from our missteps. One cannot force ideals onto people who do not want them and one cannot dictate how you should live your life. We should all be allowed to be whoever we want to be and should not be judged unfairly and publicly on how we live out our lives.

Be yourself and do what makes you happy, not what others dictate or what you think others need. As always, have a great night and terrible nightmares.

'Murica and it's hypocrisy

Most American's know the story of how we became the "great" country we are today. Britain (England) was an imperialist empire (the saying being "The sun never sets on the British Empire"). The 13 colonies soon got fed up over multiple things ( Not having representation in Parliament, unfair taxes, ect..) and rebelled against their mother country. One of the basic ideas when founding our government was that we did not want another ruler as well as someone else trying to tell us what the ^%*@ to do.

America then went on to become a major imperialist country, putting out rebellions with relatively minor difficulty. American's seem to forget our root's and that we have become what we used to hate. Also, America is seriously %!#^*@ up. The young are shackled in debt when trying to get a higher education, health care has yet to be available to everyone, regardless of skin, social class and gender and has a bad education system that seems to be widespread with some exeptions.

America needs to get it's act together and stop spending so much damm money on the military and instead spend it on education, health, and space programs.

Things

I have been pondering a few things lately and have come to some very disturbing conclusions.m
- In the Cars universe, wouldn't the airplanes feel really sick with all of the cars inside them? Would it be like eating food and then regurgitating it?

- If you had unbreakable skin (like Superman) would someone trying to cut your arm with a chainsaw hurt?

- What if we found out that a major part of the worlds leaders were actually aliens conspiring to destroy the earth from the inside?

- If Love and Hate are two sides of the same coin then how can we tell the difference? What if what we think of love is actually hate?

I will leave these here to ponder.

A wider view

People, men and women, need to remember one very important fact when it comes to weight. Weight is how much gravity is affecting you on earth. If you go to Mars, your weight will be different. If you are honestly concerned about your weight, go do some exercise and try to eat healthy. You need to live your life and not let anything stop you. Math

I have to go to math 4 days a week. I enjoy doing it... when I understand it. So, I will usually end up listening or get bored and do something stupid/weird. One day it was having people cover my entire left forearm in quotes from books and movies. Today, I ended up coloring my entire left hand with green washable marker. My skin has been left tinted green. I find it hilarious that due to my boredom, my left hand looks like Poison Ivy's. I enjoyed the double takes that I got for the rest of the day. :( Life is unfair and cruel

I just read 'The Killing Joke' yesterday and it was tragic (and I do not use 'tragic' lightly). The Joker lost pretty much everything in one day. One really bad day and he snapped. If one really bad day can snap a completely normal average joe, what does it take to snap a not ordinary person? A person who dreams of death and blood and courage? How much would it take to snap a person who has already lost so much? What is their breaking point? When will the pressure become to much for Atlas to hold the world on his shoulders? When will they come apart and EXPLODE in thousands of deadly glass shards? How much? I leave you to ponder this question. As always, have a good night and terrible nightmares.

Batman vs. Doc Savage

Two of my all time favorite people are #1. Batman and #2. Doc Savage. (Go read the wikipedia page on Doc Savage if you do not know him http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doc_Savage) Anyway, I had the though of what if they were pitted against each other? Batman taking the law into his own hands and Doc Savage who upholds it... They both are Genius's with a large fortune at their disposal. Also, both have a large number of allies they can call upon to help them as well as a immeasurable amount of gadgets. I have no idea who would win so.... Let me know in the comments who you think would win!

All lies

I am pretty sure everyone has told a lie before. It might be a tiny one or it might have been something huge. For some reason, people will sometimes hide things that do not need to be hidden. For example, saying you changed your underwear when you actually didn't. We all lie and it is part of human nature. We even lie to ourselves..... What will it take for us (Human's) to come to te point where we will not lie? Anyway, Have a good night and terrible nightmares! :)

Illusions

I have thought long and deep into the meaning of life. Like most people, I came to the conclusion that I am a miniscule piece of a cosmic chessboard and have no real meaning in life other than to live and eventually die. When you die that is it, no more you. Illusions; like there is a reason we are here; are all around us. Even the way we project ourselves is an illusion. Nobody else knows what we really are inside. Some could have a darkness hiding beneath the light. Perception vary's from person to person and show's that there is no one way to look at things. As many people have said "Giving advice is so much easier than listening to it" or "Practice what you preach". Sometimes you need someone else to tell you what is outside the trench you live in. "Magic" is just the science of illusions, and surprises us to no end.

Rules: The Good and The Bad

Rules are what define human race. We always seem to have to have rules or at least a moral compass pointing a certain direction.
Human's in general have shown that if there is no social structure or there was no form of governing, Things go to hell pretty quickly. Even though we have laws nowadays there are still people who break the law. In every society, In every way of living, there is always at least one person who breaks a rule. Some rules that are broken are insignificant (like not lying) while other's are major (Like not going around murdering lots of people). In Gotham, there is crime everywhere; there is just to much for the police to handle (hence the need of Batman). Gotham also has to deal with all sorts of crazies that bring breaking the law to a whole new level. The prime example being The Joker; A brilliant, Psychotic clown that has filled graveyards. Somehow, he has not been given the death penalty.... Yet. He breaks pretty much every single law in existence, from breaking out of prison (repeatedly) to Jaywalking (Don't Do it Mistah J!).

The concept of Anarchy (No martial law and the people with the biggest guns rule) has been proven to not work. Also, some other concepts work in small scale test's while completely failing in the real world (The biggest one being Communism). Dictatorships leave people upset at not having any power; Same thing goes for overruling countries in the past (We are looking at you, England and America).

Most rules are somewhat reasonable and make commonsense. Abide by the rules of traffic, Don't Steal, Don't Murder, ect... Others are idiotic. For example, my school has a rule that we are not allowed to bring laptops into the school lunchroom (Safety of the Laptops). This rule makes no sense when you are sitting at a table by yourself with nobody sitting at the table next to you and there is no food or drink in the vicinity. This one really irks me. Oh well, I'll be out in a few month's. Anyway, as you all know;

I relate to this every day when I go to school. When I am learning about history and the things that people have done in the past I desperately want to knock some sense into their thick skulls. Unfortunately, I am an American; born and raised and have no say over where I live. America has a long never ending list of mistakes going behind them, one of them being Imperialism. We kicked the Native American's off their land, Overthrew Hawaii's queen, went and took over Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Haiti for periods of time as well as threaten Japan with warships if they didn't open their ports... I am terribly ashamed of the actions that people in America's past have committed but I swear that I shall do my best to not make the same mistakes that they did; Also, When I am able to live on my own, I am getting the hell outta Dodge.
Anyways, Good Night and have terrible dreams! :)

A thought on Female Superheros

I recently read the entire Red Robin series (awesome by the way; 10 gold stars) and made some mental notes about these female superheroes. The biggest one that stood out to me were the heels that some of the bat family members wore. If you are running and jumping around on rooftops as well as fighting Idiots on steroids why the hell would you wear heels? I know they put in the excuse "Oh, it's so I can hide my knife and lockpick" or some other reason but they could get you killed! I just bought a pair of heels yesterday and I sure as heck can't run in them, much less go fighting Two-Face. Secondly, A lot of these costumes would do little to nothing to stop bullets, knifes, bombs, etc.... I called my mum up and she said the largest reason standing was that a lot of the people who read the comics are teen males. Sure I get that but seriously?! These are the people who are prepared for anything and are all about not getting killed by the wrong gear (See Little Bird's Vengance on Fanfiction.net for an idea) then why the heck are they wearing gear that could easily cause them to break their ankle. My little rant about Female Bat's wearing heel's is now concluded. THanks for reading and have a good night with terrible nightmares. :)

Some thoughts

As all people know, there is shipping. Shipping people and fictional characters has been going on forever. However, in the case of Batman, there are 2 main shippings. WonderBats (Wonder Woman x Batman)  and CatBat (Cat Woman x Batman). Both are really debatable and it really just depends on the context. In Justice League Unlimited I am all for Wonder Woman and Batman being in a romantic relationship. In that universe, things have never gotten so dark. Meanwhile, in the normal DC universe, I support Batman and Catwoman. 

They make such a cute couple! This is just my opinion and holds no weight on who you ship. Have a good night and terrible dreams!

Things that I have discovered in a 24 hour period that make me annoyed... or not

#1. Being sick sucks. A normal cold is fine. A wonky cold that makes it hard to talk much less sing is even worse. One of the things that I need to survive is my voice. Not to talk but to sing. I sing everywhere and will not stop. I'm a pretty decent one too. But with this cold/virus where I am unable to sing I am going crazy.

#2. Being the geek I am, I decide to watch some shows referenced in some fanfics I have been reading. Standing Examples being Pych and Anime in general. All of the anime's were in Japanese with subtitles (no big deal for me) but..... I read the subtitles for the song to fast! I was cheated out of a full themesong experience due to my brain being able to read at a crazy pace. Why cruel world; Why?!

#3. Watching the sun rise while listing to "Stay Alive" by Glados is a great way to get your day started. I mean, Who doesn't like listening to an AI sing about death and science experiments?

Finished Arkham Asylum Drawing - Take One

   

From Left to Right; Mr. Freeze, The Joker, and The Riddler

This is my colored sketch of my Arkham Asylum Profile in my sketchbook. I plan to make some of the lines more prominent and touch some things up. Both Mister Freeze and the Riddler are drawn in a cartoonish style due to the lack of people who were willing to pose for those two. I actually ended up basing the Joker's Teeth, Nose, and Chin off of my own. A desk mirror helped immensely while I was working on this. It took me about 2 hours to make; from the start to my current place. Some of it was spent sharpening pencils that had run out. Anyway, I will post more updates on this in the future. Farewell!
